Computer Technology
This program will prepare you for the certifications you need to succeed in the competitive technology industry. We can help you realize your potential, regardless of your current skill level. We have trained hundreds of students with no prior technical experience.

Dental Assisting
Alongside every good dentist is a good dental assistant. Learn the skills you need to help dentists take care of patients effectively and efficiently. Dental assistant careers are expected to be one of the fastest growing occupations through the year 2012.

Pre-licensure Practical Nursing
The Pre-licensure Practical Nursing program will prepare you to expertly provide patient care, promote wellness, and maintain health under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, licensed physician or licensed dentist.

Associate Degree Medical Professional
This degree program offers you the flexibility to choose between three different career tracks. The core portion of the program is designed for entry-level medical assisting/administrative positions. Once this is complete, you will have the option to choose from one of three concentrations: Medical Assisting, Professional Medical Coding or Professional Medical Coding - Hospital.

Concentration in Medical Assisting
This program concentration will prepare you to interact with patients your duties may include taking medical histories and vital signs, explaining treatment procedures, preparing patients for the physician’s examination and assisting the physician during the exam. You will learn to collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as needed by the physician.

Concentration in Professional Medical Coding
This program concentration will prepare you maintain detailed records for a medical office—containing observations, medical or surgical interventions and treatment outcomes. You will also learn to collect information including family history, x-ray and lab results and treatment plans. As a coder, you will become familiar with assigning a code to each specific diagnosis or procedure performed in the office.

Concentration in Professional Medical Coding - Hospital
This program concentration differs from physician office Medical Coding in that a special emphasis is placed on in-patient (hospital) coding. These extra hours of hospital-specific coursework are intended to prepare students for work in a hospital setting. Coders with a concentration in Medical Coding - Hospital have a wide variety of career choices, including hospitals, urgent/immediate care centers, doctor’s offices, insurance companies and physician billing services.
